Habitat for Humanity – whose Seattle & Bellevue chapters have hosted Michael for several fundraising concerts & inspired his song Everyone Of Us Deserves a Home.

Baptist Peacemaker Fellowship  – who featured Michael as guest musician and song leader at Peace Camp in 2005.

Lutheran Volunteer Corps– whose Tacoma, Washington region has hosted Michael for numerous benefit concerts.

Broadview Community United Church of Christ – Where Michael has performed.

Lake Washington United Methodist Church of Kirkland – where Michael has led annual retreats for each of the past 6 years.

Rauschenbusch Center – where Michael is the artist in residence.

University Baptist Church – Welcome to UBC – where Michael is a member & often sings on Sundays.

Brethren/Mennonite Council for Lesbian & Gay Concerns – who have hosted Michael for concerts & other special events.

The Association of Welcoming & AffirmingBaptists HOME – who commissioned Michael to write a conference theme song in 2002 titled Providence.  Many other songs written or recorded by Michael have also been utilized by affirming congregations of various denominations:  Stand Up, Standing In Oppression’s Way, Love Makes a Family (by Heitler-Klevans).
